The first manager to ever promote me said that the reason he promoted me was for my ability to analyze, question, and challenge. He chose me to be the person who would challenge him to look at things through new eyes so as to help continue improving himself, myself, and the company. Hello! I’m Clint and I am a challenger. For a few years now, I have been the training manager for incoming new hires as well as my peer managers. It is the skill that I pride the most from my experience at FedEx Ground. I believe that high quality training leads to a more engaged, high functioning workforce. Putting the work in at the beginning will lead to lower turnover, higher productivity, and an improved workplace atmosphere, and I will actively push back against anyone trying to undermine that. As an extension of my love of training, I also actively absorb knowledge so as to be able to be the person everyone can rely on and seek out to train or teach them. I am a big supporter of centralized knowledge, as everyone doing the same job regardless of how remote, should have the same access to all necessary knowledge as everyone else. Without it, you’ll have 87 different employees doing things 87 different ways instead of being able to collaborate and agree on the best way together. I’m looking to find a company that aligns with these two skills and is willing to work with someone who challenges them so that we can grow together! I have earned many awards and acknowledgements over my years with FedEx, but the ones that standout the most are- Midwest District Operations Manager of the 2nd Quarter (FY19)- Midwest District Operations Manager of the 3rd Quarter (FY18)- Midwest District Operations Manager of the Year (FY17)- Midwest District Operations Manager of the 4th Quarter (FY17)- Midwest District Operations Manager of the 3rd Quarter (FY16)- Midwest District Operations Administrator of the Year (FY15)- Midwest District Operations Administrator of the 2nd Quarter (FY15)- Assisted in opening a new facility in northern Milwaukee in August 2015 - Eleven (11) Peak Player of the Week (Peaks of 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019)- Northwest District Operations Administrator of the Year (FY14)- Northwest District Operations Administrator of the 2nd Quarter (FY14)- Assisted in opening a new facility in northern Seattle in October 2013 - Twenty-four (24) Employee/Staff Member of the Month awards since August 2006
