About Clinton Wells

Clinton has over 20 years of experience as an Environmental Scientist. As an Operational Integrity Specialist, he ensured the onsite safety compliance and adherence to internal Technical SOP's. He achieved this via training sessions with staff, audits and feedback for continuous improvement. Clinton continues to develop and refine the internal SOPs, in order to keep abreast of changing industry requirements, identified efficiencies and best management practices. As a Program Manager and Senior Project Manager, he has planned, coordinated and overseen the field components for a significant number of wellsites throughout Alberta. Clinton has created reclamation, Phase 2 and 3 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) plans with associated budgets and coordinated the personnel and contractors to complete projects on budget and in a timely fashion. Since starting with NorthWind, Clinton has been involved in all components of conduction ESAs from pre-construction assessments to Phase 1 ESAs to final reclamation and Detailed Site Assessments. Clinton also has extensive spill response experience. Prior to working at NorthWind, Clinton coordinated the clean-up and monitoring of sewage overflows in the Greater Sydney Area with the Sydney Water Corporation (Australia) as an Environmental Responder. He also spent time conducting air and water quality monitoring as required for Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc.’s Operating Approval from Alberta Environment.
