About Cliona Collins

I am a Business Analyst for Engineers Ireland working on strategic Projects. I have also worked as a Finance Executive as part of the Finance team. I am a qualified Engineer with a Post Grad in Business and Marketing. I joined Bank of Ireland on their graduate programme. Working on key strategic Cost and Capability projects. I trained as a Business Analyst working with Accenture and other Consultants to deliver a Single view of Customer database and relationship management system. I then moved back into the Retail Businesses as a Project Manager. While on career break I travelled worldwide and worked as a Business Analyst for Tourism Australia in Sydney. It was an Oracle CRM installation using my UML skills acquired at Bank of Ireland. On return to bank of Ireland I worked as a customer satisfaction Manager developing a process for branches to log and solve service issues with the internal retail business units such as mortgages and credit cards. I took a career break to have a family and returned to work for an SME in the Heating and Plumbing industry. Initially I undertook to establish robust processes across the business and optimise the systems available. In order to reengineer the business I took over the Finance team and worked with our accountants to set up a whole new team and monthly financial reports and processes. My last role with them was to help migrate to a new sales, accounting & stock system and lay the foundations for a new website.
