Background

About Clodagh Kerr

Currently working as Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Lead at University College Cork, I bring nearly two decades of experience in the higher education sector. I have dedicated my career to supporting students in their academic and professional journeys. From 2006 to 2023, I worked as a Placement Manager for the College of Science, Engineering & Food Science, where I had the privilege of guiding both undergraduate and postgraduate students in securing valuable placements as part of their studies. My strengths lie in connecting networks, identifying opportunities, and negotiating and collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I understand the critical importance of relationship management with partner organizations and its significant contribution to students' success in transitioning through and out of university. In addition to my role at University College Cork, I am honoured to serve as a co-opted Trustee at ASET and have been an Associate since 2024. My commitment to fostering strong partnerships and supporting student development continues to drive my professional endeavours.
