About Cloud Q Conrad

As Executive Director for Beyond Dementia Coalition I have the sheer joy of working alongside others who are passionate about dementia education and awareness, in a non-profit 501-c-3 setting. We are based in Gainesville GA and serve all of north Georgia. With the surge in dementia expected as Baby Boomers age, we see a growing and urgent need to close the dementia preparedness gap that exists in our communities today.Dementia caregiver education can be a game changer for clients who want to improve their relationship with and care of a person living with dementia. Dementia education helps spouses, siblings, children; professional care providers; and leaders of government, business, and faith groups understand how dementia changes the brain and how to help a person living with dementia succeed within their ability in the moment. I continue my work at New Street Compass developing dementia education programs to support learners in three key areas: dementia knowledge, care skills, and risk reduction. If everyone knows something about dementia, our communities will be more resilient in a future where dementia diagnoses are expected to double.
