About Cobb Keen

I am the founder of the Matchstick Media brand, a social media experiment in cannabis, psychedelics, and alternative culture found at @bookofmatchstick (previously @itsmatchstick) on Instagram. Combining my passion in cannabis with my extensive experience in professional sales, I am excited to be developing and executing cannabis sales strategies to help this space evolve. I feel aligned with my career and passion which is an unstoppable combination. I boast a strong acumen and network in emerging therapies as a cannabis connoisseur/educator and mushroom home cultivator/hobbyist. My passion is driven by educating cannabis patients/consumers and guiding their access to alternative therapies and therapists in the cannabis/psychedelics/synthetics spaces. I am also an advocate and enabler of the recreational market for cannabis and psychedelics. Many in my ophthalmology/optometry network are clients and “patients” of mine through cannabis and psilocybin consults as are a host of ophthalmic sales representatives across Western Canada. You could say I’m helping eyecare find its “third eye” - one mushroom at a time! The bulk of my professional sales experience is in the ophthalmic industry with over 15 years dominating the consultative dry eye disease space. I was recognized as the BCDO’s Top Industry Representative in 2017 in addition to having received numerous awards and President Club achievements. My customers were the absolute highlight of that chapter. I value their trust, friendship, and ongoing support. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to my BC eyecare team and regional sales managers during my tenure in eyecare with Allergan (our “good old days” if we are to have had them) and to those individuals that welcomed me into the Santen family.
