About Coco Masuda

Both the founder and the managing director of CoCollaborations, LLC, and the principal of Coco Masuda Studio based in New York City, my expertise and responsibilities encompass many areas. For CoCollaborations, I work mainly with Japanese clients to expand their market globally through building multi-lingual Ecommerce and corporate websites and facilitating business deals. I also manage freelance staff, whom we call collaborators. As the creative of Coco Masuda Studio, I illustrate and design, and as a fine artist, I paint modern portraits and New York Cityscapes. During my successful twenty-year-long career as a graphic designer and illustrator, I created many memorable images for international businesses, publications, and organizations such as United Nations, Estée Lauder, Starbucks, United Airlines, and The New York Times. In 2009, I began a new career as a fine art painter with a solo show in Tokyo, “Very Personal New York”, specializing in portraits and New York cityscapes. In 2014, a seri,” of my portrait work was featured in the advertising campaign for Itochu Corporation in Japan, and the campaign was awarded the grand prize for the prestigious Nikkei advertising awards for the year.
