As a creative educator, I encourage people of all ages to unlock their potential through the application of creative processes and divergent modes of thinking. Anytime one is experimenting with new ideas, questioning hegemonic forms of knowledge, and engaging with their unique set of talents, they are participating in a creative process, all of which can be amplified through the application of both arts integrated and non arts integrated tasks. The creative process is a celebration of our idiosyncrasies. I believe activities that enact creative processes allow for people to explore themselves as individuals, while simultaneously recognizing the unique ways in which they can contribute and add value to the numerous communities they occupy. Spaces where I have applied my passion for creative thinking include historic houses, festivals, archaeological sites, art studios, the digital sphere, and within-the-four-walls of traditional classrooms.
