About Cody Bingham

With a diverse background of experience in many environmental specialties, Cody is a generalist able to draw upon years of knowledge as an environmental consultant for a wide variety of clients and projects. With a focus on the siting, licensing, and permitting of linear projects, Cody is an all-in-one package when it comes to environmental permitting. He is proficient in U.S. Army Corpse of Engineers (USACE) Section 10/Section 404 permitting, USACE Section 404 wetland delineations, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document writing and analysis, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) authorizations, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), and numerous other related environmental permitting. Cody relies heavily on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to perform complex, quantitative analysis of impacts that potential projects could have on sensitive environmental areas, and generates alternatives which result in fewer impacts and thus reduces permitting exposure. Utilizing these analyses, Cody creates vibrant and user-friendly figures that clearly indicate the environmental risks to project scope, schedule, and budget. A military veteran, Cody served five years in the Marines as an Intelligence Specialist, cultivating his critical thinking and analytical skills during two combat tours in Al Anbar Province, Iraq from 2005-2006 and 2007-2008.
