About Cody Luong

Prior to joining the healthcare industry and be able to take care of others, I had to first learn how to take care of myself. This difficult lesson started at an early age when my parents had to work long hours for multiple days to keep our lives financially stable. With the magnitude of time dedicated to their jobs, there was little time for them to learn scholastic subjects such as English themselves to then be able to assist me with my own school work. To compensate for this, I had to become more individualized and did so at the age of 8 with the start of ordering my own food at our local Burger King where I would later be hired for my first job. Since the days of my very first job, I have become a fairly established and motivated individual with over six years of work experience. As I grow, my jobs, skills, and work experience does so as well which got me to my current position as a Neurdiagnostic Assistant at Interanerve. Here, I travel to hospitals that have contracts with our company to hook up EEGs to patients who are experiencing neurologic trauma. I love my work and who I work for but as I continue to grow, I want my experience to grow with me as well. I will have a position for Healthcare Services Management in either HR, recruitment, or marketing. I will offer up and utilize my skills and talents in patient care, leadership and management, and relationship-building to be successful and give back to those who helped me get to where I am.
