About Cody Marsh

I am a third-year undergrad student at Boston University majoring in health science. I aspire to pursue a career in health care working with patients. The intersection of science and helping people intrigues me, and I want to make a difference by utilizing both my passion for interpersonal connection and my desire to help others. At BU, I am involved in the DREAM program, the Pre-Medical Society, and the First Year Student Outreach Program (FYSOP). Each of these opportunities has meant so much to me, as they have provided me with a nurturing experience for my professional development and education in the field I want to enter, as well as allowed an outlet for my passions for mentorship and community service. In addition, I am involved with the nonprofit organization Matriculate as a High School Fellow Recruitment Ambassador. Matriculate is a national nonprofit organization that connects high school juniors and seniors to highly trained undergraduate advisors—completely virtually—empowering students to attend colleges where they will thrive. I was advised by a Matriculate undergrad advisor during my junior and senior years of high school, and I now work with Matriculate to spread the word about their mission so more high school juniors and seniors can receive the same help that immensely helped my college application process.
