About Cody McCallum

From 2015 to 2019, I was a student at the University of Texas at Dallas in the ATEC program with a focus on game design. I have a professional understanding of industry production pipelines, SDLC, game design philosophy, and industry standard testing methodologies. Most of this experience is in Unity and Unreal 4, using C# and C++ respectively to design my own games and help others create theirs. For the next couple of years, I worked as a freelance QA and desktop support technician as well as a Geek Squad repair agent. In October of 2020, I was hired as a Server Test Engineer for Bottle Rocket Studios. In this role, I gained full exposure to the Software Development Life Cycle and worked on multiple projects with large cross-functional teams. I am currently looking to continue in the QA space through manual, backend, and automated testing.
