About Cody Messick

I have worked for Reverb for over 5 years and operate as a Marketplace Integrity Specialist and Legal Assistant. I love to bring my passion and energy to work, and have lead initiatives to update company policy (both user and admin facing), review SOPs, build new departments, and produce smarter/kinder/better policies and practices to make our teams and our customers lives better. When I'm not working a 9-5 I also perform as a professional guitarist and multi-instrumentalist in multiple bands, have been a professional DJ for over 10 years, and currently co-run, book, and mc one of the fastest growing Independent Country and Americana events in the Midwest with my business partner and wife, Reilly Downes. Over the past decade, I have rubbed elbows with business leaders, engineers, creatives, and grammy award winning artists alike, and all over the United States. My very unique blend of skills and passion help me build bridges and create unique solutions to breath new life into any role I take on.
