I am a ten year State Trooper, NDSU graduate, father, and tech lover. A skilled law enforcement officer, with extensive training beyond patrol. Trained in commercial vehicle post-crash analysis, federal motor carrier inspections, hazardous materials inspections, and general traffic enforcement. I have been the motor carrier eastern division use of force instructor for 3 years, NDHP Honor Guard member for 4 years, and social media team member for 2 years. I took up programming over the pandemic and fell in love with python development. I have produced various personal use apps, including automated web scrapers and text based bot applications. This evolved into a love of cybersecurity to match my normally investigative nature. I am certified in cybersecurity fundamentals and have practical experience with SIEM tools, network security frameworks, and various applications used in the industry such as Suricata, and tcpdump. I am a very fast, self-driven learner and a people person who aims to help. I am always aiming to improve and open to all guidance.
