I am currently a student at Globe University in the Veterinary Assistant Program. I will be graduating in March of 2016 with my A.A.S. I am currently a Veterinary Assistant at Thompson Animal Medical Center. I am also an Assistant Manager of a Subway Restaurant. My duties as a Veterinary Assistant vary from venipuncture, blood work, fecal analysis, urine analysis, animal restraint, monitoring under anesthesia, operating the anesthesia machine, administration of medication, dispensing of medication, handling appointments, scheduling appointments, calling in prescriptions to pharmacies, and client education. As an Assistant Manager my responsibilities are: scheduling, ordering of truck, inventory, doing interviews, hiring, supervision of employees, money handling, training new-hires, and solving customer complaints. Working two jobs and still a full-time student I have proven not to just myself but to others that I excel at multi-tasking and time management and still manage to put a smile on my face and others.
