About Cody Wall

When I started my career in engineering, it was actually in electrical engineering. While I enjoyed that, I found that I wanted to be able to see all of the steps in my work at a time and see their effect on an end product. So, I decided to make the switch to software engineering, where I can see products and solutions unfold in real-time, not just at the end. When I decided to make this switch, I started reaching out to anyone and everyone that I knew in the software engineering world, and eventually landed an internship. During this internship I built my foundational skills in Java, automation, and in guiding products through the entire software development lifecycle as we built out an internal testing suite. After my internship, I stayed on in a full time role at the company, where I have continued to work in testing but also have had the opportunity to grow my skills in debugging, building automations and implementing software fixes in collaboration with cross-functional teams. My technical skills include: Programming Languages: Java, Python, C++, Bash, C#, Swift, Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, Protocols: 0auth2, JWT, SAML2, RSA encryption, FTP Tools and Cloud Technologies: Jenkins, Kubernetes, AWS, Docker Software Engineering: Software Design, Object Oriented Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Debugging, REST APIs, Testing, Software Development Lifecycle For my next step I would love to join a company that is collaborative, open to new ideas and taking on new responsibilities, and one where responsibilities and tasks are clearly defined. I want to be building out software applications and continuing to utilize all of my current skills while growing in new skills and technologies.
