About Cody Webb

Cody Webb is an experienced actuary and insurance specialist. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). With over 13 years of experience in the insurance industry, Cody specializes in pricing homeowners and auto insurance, property catastrophe research, predictive analytics, and the intersection of insurance with public policy. Cody has authored quantitative reports for prominent groups such as the Society of Actuaries, the Casualty Actuarial Society, and the American Property Casualty Insurance Association on subjects such as wildfire risk mitigation, the effect of hurricanes on health outcomes, climate change, pending legislation, and catastrophe litigation. In 2022, Cody founded his independent actuarial consulting practice, Cuanto Consulting, LLC. Prior to this, Cody worked as a pricing and research actuary at Insurance and as a principal and consulting actuary at Milliman, Inc. As a fully credentialed Property & Casualty actuary, I've internalized the theory of actuarial science, demonstrating the statistical ability and diligent commitment necessary to succeed at the rigorous examination process. I keep current with continuing education requirements and am approved to practice as an actuary and prepare Statements of Actuarial Opinion. In addition to my actuarial credential, I've also passed the CPCU exams, earning a foundational insurance education on subjects such as policy forms, insurance law, regulation, and company operations. This additional education has been invaluable in extending my knowledge of the insurance industry beyond what actuarial exams can provide.
