About Cody Wilkinson

Climate change is the defining challenge of my generation. Growing up ski racing in the Rocky Mountains from the to the 2010’s, I witnessed the snowpack shrinking at my home hill firsthand. To protect my mountains and my community, I established my mission to maximize my contribution to the Green Transition. Through my Mathematics degree at Holy Cross, I learned how to think critically, break down complex problems, and deliver efficient solutions. As a kicker and punter for the football team, I developed discipline, perseverance, and an intimate relationship with leadership and teamwork— skills I now seek to apply at my next professional opportunity. My Professional Science Master’s in Carbon Management from Colorado State University’s Ecosystem Science & Sustainability department equipped me with technical expertise in climate science, GHG inventories, and climate policy analysis. I bring a systems-thinking, socio-ecological perspective that understandings human systems as existing within nature, not separate from or above nature. I am now seeking an entry-level role in sustainability consulting, local/state climate policy, or with an NGO that values professional development and a collaborative, forward-thinking culture. My long-term goals are to be a leader in the decision-making room, driving for a sustainable future. While building teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, instill into my team my coaching philosophy of Attitude and Effort. I am prioritizing remote opportunities to maintain these strong connections with my community, but I am open to relocation anywhere in the world for the right role advancing climate solutions.
