In my current position as an Engineering Supervisor, I am responsible for Government Relocation activities for the East Region of Oklahoma. My team and I interpret existing and proposed road construction, including utilities, from the entities civil engineering plans. We determine conflicts between the road plans and our existing natural gas infrastructure, then design capital projects to relocate our facilities. Relocation design includes bare/coated steel and polyethylene pipe, regulator stations, and customer service lines. Our systems range from low to high pressure distribution lines, which includes transmission. During design, we focus on the reduction of risk, increasing the robustness of our natural gas system, and maintaining safety for internal and external operations groups. To complete our projects, we utilize the following software systems; Maximo, GIS (ArcMap), AutoCAD, SolidWorks, C55, LocusView, Perceptive Content.
