I am a professional data analyst specializing in Supply Chain Management, analytics, and demand planning. As a Demand Planner at American Crafts, I've worn many hats from analytics, sales ops, IT, ERP consulting, risk management, and supply chain planning. Thanks to a new SQL server, I developed entirely new queries and KPI dashboards within SQL and Excel to increase our own department's efficiency by 65%, in addition to improving every other department's capabilities. As an analyst to the Sales Operations team, I had developed over a dozen reports, tools, and templates to increase their department's effectiveness by 35%. Helping others use Excel and our ERP system to do more has unexpectedly been one of my favorite tasks, and has brought great satisfaction to my career. During my early years at American Crafts, I championed a workforce Excel Training program, and was the project manager over its execution. This program led to an improved efficiency that helped employees do more in less time through Excel tools and education, which saved the company over annually in ineffective time spent, and made employees happier at the end of the day, knowing that tasks that took them an hour or two could be done in as little as a few minutes, and they could focus on the most important parts of their duties. I began my career at an internship as the general manager over our university's recycling center. This involved directly working with 10-15 employees on sorting 8 different recycling products and managing line balancing to reduce bottlenecks and increase our capacity to receive more recycling from the university and city. As we baled products I developed an inventory management system in Excel to help schedule the sale of various recycled products. This added to my exciting passion for meeting supply and demand, as well as empowering individuals to accomplish more.
