About Colby Chase

My name is Eddie Plummer and I am writing this book under the pen name Colby Chase.This literary work of fiction is based on my personal experiences, observations, and creative imagination drawn from twenty years of street credits as a career criminal, pimp, drug dealer, heroin addict, and hustler―which led to my incarceration in several penitentiaries, drug rehabs, and near death experiences―much like the characters that I write about. After exposure to anonymous Twelve Step Programs―which lead to a spiritual experience―I have maintained a successful twenty years career in sales and management in corporate America, along with an entrepreneurship in real estate and property management. My experiences have ranged from three years of service in the military (U.S. Army); an underworld existence in international street life to becoming a recovered addict of twenty- three years clean at the time of writing this book. I am now semiretired. I spend my time these days writing and managing my rental properties. My goal is to continue carrying a message of spirituality, hope, and prosperity to others. By the grace of a Higher Power―one day at a time, I am living my dreams―to remain reasonably happy, joyous, peaceful, and free inside my own skin, and never stop growing personally and spiritually.
