About Cole Gerber

I started my working career as a customer service representative at Target that also worked in each department in the store. I learned a lot in this job about customer service and conflict resolution.I then became a Library Page for the King County Library System where I was in charge of stocking and auditing the shelves. If I misplaced a book, it could be lost in our system for a very long time, so it was extremely important that I was thorough and paid close attention to detail. Once I graduated from Bellevue College with my Associate in Business, I began working at an apartment complex called The Hills on Grand under management by Trinitas. I worked with residents and solved their problems, I helped run events, called and gave tours to prospects, and made sales. The property was then bought and management was transitioned to Yugo with the property name being changed to The Yugo Pullman Hills. Through my first year as a Community Assistant, I was the top part-time leaser. As a result, I was promoted to Leasing Agent and continued my duties full-time for the next 5 months.I was then offered the position of Leasing and Marketing Manager for University Crossing after giving a tour to the regional manager for UC while he was shopping the competition. I took the position and began leasing up a 248-bed space property at the beginning of February and my team and I leased it to 100% by the end of April. I learned how to hire and manage a staff, improved my sales skills, planned and executed events (one of which resulted in 52 leases), manage a social media page, and much more, all while graduating from Washington State University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration; Management.Now that I've gotten my property to 100% and graduated from school, I am now looking to take the next step on the property management ladder and become an Assistant Property Manager, with the aim of eventually becoming a property manager!
