About Cole Grever

My name is Cole Grever and I am a fourth year Finance student in the College of Business at Ohio University. Growing up with a father who is a finance major, I have always been interested in numbers and math. I came to Ohio University not really knowing what I wanted to do, but I knew I wanted to be in business. I decided to come declared as a finance major because I knew that is what my dad had done. In my second year at Ohio University, I took a basic personal finance course. This really helped me to realize that this is the job field I wanted to invest my time into. I had always been good with numbers and managing my money, so this seemed like a perfect fit. I learned a lot about managing money and allocating it for the proper resources. I have taken multiple finance classes since then that have taught me more about different types of markets, investments, and corporate finance. I have learned a lot and have excelled in these particular classes. I am a very hardworking and dedicated person. I like to stay on top of the tasks that I am presented and use organization to make the right decisions. This is why I want to become a Financial Planner. I know how to handle my money and make proper investments and I want to be able to help other people with this as well. I am very outgoing and like helping others, so this fits in well with the finance tract that I am on.I would like to use my people skills and my dedication to help make other people's lives a little easier. By helping people manage their money, I am combining my skills with people with my financial skills to help them to be better off than where they were before we had met.
