About Cole Krawitz

I'm a 44 year old doykait believer, teenage cancer survivor, gratitude practitioner, trans, queer, white ashkenazi Jewish ritual lover and leader, caring uncle, award-winning writer and poet, and transformational leadership coach who for over twenty years has been working across liberation and social justice movements for freedom and dignity for everyone. These experiences brought me to the magic and sacred space that is transformational coaching as a practice that offers people time to slow down, and through deep listening, curiosity, visioning, expanding the view, embodiment and accountability, live from their own creative wisdom, lineages and knowing that they hold within. My training and practice incorporates building coaching partnerships one-on-one, and with teams, where people live into their fullness in their days, and in how they are showing up in their work, vision, and dreams of and for liberation movements. My group facilitation projects thread coaching with 20+ years of creative, iterative strategy and project management that open up more possibilities for teams to move together with ease and live into their collective visions and dreams. I also train organizations and consulting firms on coaching essentials. An award-winning writer and poet, I've taught writing as a Lecturer in Creative Writing in the Master of Arts in English Program at Holy Names University and in June Jordan's Poetry for the People Program at University of California, Berkeley. I've been awarded residencies and fellowships from Summer Literary Seminars, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA), Lambda Literary Foundation, and Makor/92nd Street Y. I lead Jewish ritual spaces online with the JVP Havurah Network, an emergent network that gathers, supports and resources diasporist, anti-zionist and non-zionist Jews and Jewish spiritual communities. I coordinated a Daily Queer Mincha from March-June 2020, and facilitate Jewish embodiment offerings like "Counting the Omer + Divine Presence," which will happen again in Spring 2022. I received my coaching certification through Leadership that Works' Community Coaching Training Program, an International Coach Federation approved program. I earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, Poetry, from Lesley University’s low-residency program and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Smith College. I was also a Jewish Community Fellow at the Graduate Theological Union in 2019-2020. You'll often find me singing, studying Talmud with SVARA, walking in the park with beloveds, and embracing the joy of Shabbat.
