About Cole Malaka

I am a graduate from the Dhillon School of Business, and a single father of two children. Through growing up on a grain farm, as well as working within the Ag industry, I have developed a strong passion for all things Ag. I've had the opportunity to work on my parent's grain farm and be a member of the Ghost Pine 4-H beef club. I've also worked for BASF Ag Solutions, Monsanto (now Bayer CropScience), and Nutrien Ag Solutions. I thoroughly enjoyed these roles, particularly because I had the opportunity to meet and get to know so many producers in the Southern AB region while honing my agronomic skillset. Currently, I am working with Richardson Pioneer as an Area Marketing Representative. I assist clients with their crop planning, inputs, and application needs. As well as grain merchandising/purchasing. I took on this role recently and I am really excited to work with my growers from seed to harvest. I love working in the Southern Alberta area as it is diverse in terms of geography, producers, and farming practices. There is always something new to learn about and see every day, which keeps my job exciting and me learning!
