About Cole McCray

I'm a designer and engineer, ready to take on any challenge and solve any problem that comes my way with grace and efficiency. Cars and technology are the only things I know. They're where I'm truly at home. Since I could hold a toy car, to design cars was all I ever wanted. Later learning how to use a pencil strengthened this resolve, and later still learning to use a wrench cemented it even further. Working with my father to restore old cars and boats forced me to learn my way around the basic systems of an automobile, and it's been something I've been able to do since I was very young. The Vehicle Design program at Western Washington University showed me exactly how to get where I want to go, giving me the keys to my future. The design and engineering work I have done for ProTech Industries gave me an industry foundation, as well as connections and a beginning understanding off which to springboard into ever greater things. The experience I gained at EASi/Detroit Diesel allowed me to grow and better understand the nuances and state of the industrial and heavy duty industries. Now, the sky is the limit: I embrace the engineering and design world with open arms and open eyes, ready to take on and solve the next challenge in stride as I have learned to do before. The only remaining question is: Where to go now?
