About Cole Petersen

Curious. Strategic. People-focused. I’m a recent BBA grad from the Beedie School of Business with a dual concentration in Human Resources and Strategic Analysis, driven by a passion for purposeful work that connects people, culture, and impact. Currently at Arc’teryx, I work on the retail side of the business, but my interest spans far beyond the floor. I’m especially drawn to initiatives at the intersection of talent development, sustainability, and brand integrity. My previous experience as a Student Marketeer at Red Bull taught me how to activate communities, lead campaigns, and create authentic connections between brands and people. Outside of my main roles, I’ve been consulting freelance for non-profits, helping organizations rethink their structure, strengthen leadership, and align their brand with their mission. I’m energized by this kind of work: strategic, values-based, and built on collaboration. Whether I’m climbing, running, or deep into a rebranding brainstorm, I bring the same mindset: thoughtful planning, strong follow-through, and a drive to make things better.
