About Cole Phillips

I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Statistics and B.A. in Economics. This combination has given me the opportunity to continue my long-standing interest in quantitative analysis and mathematics while simultaneously developing relevant skills toward my pursuits in the field of business upon graduating. Outside of my education, I have been a competitive athlete from a very young age and am a firm believer in the power of sport to cultivate personal growth in all realms of life. Through roles such as being the captain of my high school basketball team to serving as the president of UNC club basketball, I have come to find that my biggest strengths are in leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability, all of which have aided me in my endeavors on and off the court. Currently, I am working as a Senior Merchandise Financial Planner in the Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) space in Beaverton, OR. My hope is that I will continue to be able to integrate both the hard and soft skills that I have developed through my educational and athletic background into my career moving forward.
