About Cole Pratte

I started gaining interest in the field of IT in 2011, predominantly in hardware, teaching myself. By 2012 I was building PC’s for my family members. In 2014, when I started high school, I started a small business building gaming computers for my peers and helping people around town with their IT issues. In 2015 I helped start an IT club in high school, where members of the club would help the IT team with supporting teachers and students. After graduating high school, I tried college for 2 years while still working full time. I attended UConn for 1 year, majoring in CSE. I went to MCC for 1 year after that where I realized school was not for me, and I preferred learning with hands on experience and teaching myself as I always have. I started work for at a small MSP for a year, providing level 1 tech support and learning a lot. I now work at a much larger MSP providing a full scope of service to many more clients, have my Security+ certification, and of course still learning a lot!
