About Cole Short
I was raised in Indiana but left to go to Queens University of Charlotte to get a great liberal arts education while pursuing my swimming career. Swimming for 15 years has taught me invaluable skills including time management, dedication and perseverance, effective communication with diverse groups of people. While at Queens I have had the opportunity to be a part of a six-time national championship team, three of them during my tenure. I was involved in the Student Athletic Advisory Committee assisting in planning and managing fundraising activities for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I also joined the Transition to University program to help first-year student-athletes acclimate to the rigors of balancing their academics, athletics, and social lives.
