About Cole Sligar

As a senior at Florida State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Criminology, I have developed a strong foundation in both cybercrime detection and cybersecurity measures. Throughout my coursework, I have honed skills essential to the cybersecurity field, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to analyze complex security threats. My studies have equipped me with hands-on experience in areas such as incident response, vulnerability assessment, and digital forensics, giving me a comprehensive understanding of how to detect, prevent, and respond to cybercrime.I am set to graduate in May 2025, and I am actively seeking internship opportunities in the summer of 2025, following graduation, to further develop my practical skills and contribute to the protection of digital environments. I am particularly passionate about exploring roles that involve securing networks, protecting sensitive data, and mitigating cybersecurity risks. Looking forward to connecting with professionals in this field.
