About Cole Terzia

As a Senior Systems Engineer at Ochsner Health System, one of the largest and most respected health care providers in the region, I apply my network security and infrastructure skills to ensure the safety and reliability of critical systems and data. I have over six years of experience in the hospital and health care industry, working with various technologies and platforms to support the IT operations and services of the organization. In my current role, I am responsible for designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices, servers, firewalls, and security systems, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting network performance and security issues. I also partner with other IT teams and stakeholders to develop and implement network security policies, standards, and best practices, as well as to provide technical guidance and support for network-related projects and initiatives. Some of my recent achievements include successfully upgrading the network infrastructure of multiple sites, enhancing the security monitoring capabilities of the IT department, and resolving several complex network incidents and vulnerabilities. I am passionate about learning new technologies and staying updated on the latest trends and developments in the field of network security and systems engineering. I hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification, as well as a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Louisiana Tech University.
