About Colee Whitacre

With over four years of work experience in communication, writing, and storytelling, I am a creative copywriter and story producer who can craft engaging and compelling content for various audiences and platforms. Currently, I am a copywriter at Denver Ad School, where I learn from industry experts and hone my skills in advertising, branding, and digital media. I am also the communication and creative content manager at Jubilee Women's Center, a nonprofit organization that empowers women to overcome poverty and homelessness. There, I manage the agencies online presence, meet and interact with donors, and produce all materials for our various fundraising efforts throughout the year. Previously, I was a story producer at Netflix, where I contributed creatively to a top-ten, Emmy-nominated TV show and worked alongside senior writers to create scripts that met Netflix standards. I also did temporary and permanent voice over work, organized story boards, clip collection, casting, and performed other production tasks as needed. As a writer, I am passionate about using my skills to create meaningful and memorable content that connects with diverse audiences and inspires positive change.
