About Colette Conlin

I have recently started in my new role as Creative Development Officer at Newcastle Theatre Royal. Where I am curating/ delivering across young people’s projects,Youth theatre and part of the wider creative Engagement team. As project coordinator at Open Clasp Theatre Company, I managed and delivered on live events that challenge stereotypes and create social change. I have a BA in Creative Enterprise: Acting from Newcastle College, where I developed my skills in performance, production, and entrepreneurship. I have over two years of experience in event management, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement, working with diverse and marginalised communities. I am passionate about using theatre as a tool for empowerment, education, and advocacy, and I strive to produce high-quality and impactful events that reflect the voices and stories of the people we work with.
