About Colin Baker

My journey here at Easton Bible Church (EBC) began in June of 1992. I had only visited one other church before knowing that EBC would be my home for the years to come. As a new believer in Christ, I had never experienced the joy in serving and the love for others that was demonstrated by the men and the women with whom I began to serve. As opportunities presented themselves, whether it was outreach events like “The Last Supper” or dinner theater drama, teaching a Sunday school class, even the first time I was nominated to serve on the deacon board I was always humbled, excited, and willing to serve in whatever way God provided. While serving as the deacon chairman in 2012 and knowing that the current FT facility worker would be leaving, God provided yet another opportunity. This position would be a paid PT position to serve here at EBC. This was not a staff position but one that allowed me to serve and would require me to be at the church on a more regular basis. Deep in my heart the desire and thought of working full time at EBC began to seem like a possibility for the future. I experienced the joy of giving abundantly during a very difficult personal financial time. My dependence on God and my commitment to the EBC family, and the joy I receive through serving Him, provide ways for me to bless and disciple others. Humbling myself and demonstrating the faith that moves mountains and being obedient to follow Him, I now see the fruit of this process in my three children. I am humbled beyond understanding for this opportunity and excited for what the future holds.all for the King!
