As a seasoned leader with over 11 years of political experience, including serving as Mayor of Kelowna, I am now building a new career as Director of Client Relations with Wilson M. Beck Insurance Services. This role allows me to expand my skill set, pursue new challenges, and continue doing what I value most—building strong relationships and helping people succeed. Leading one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities for nearly a decade required adaptability, collaboration, and decisive leadership. From guiding an organization of more than employees through a global pandemic to overseeing an annual budget of $500M, I developed a proven ability to navigate complex challenges and seize opportunities in a fast-paced environment. Regular public speaking, media engagement, and community outreach also gave me the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders and foster meaningful relationships. I am now applying that experience to support clients at Wilson M. Beck Insurance Services, helping them grow and protect their businesses. Having thrived in high-pressure environments and worked with diverse partners, I am confident my leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills translate directly into client success.
