About Colin Davis

I recently graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Over my time at school, I held numerous leadership positions over three years within the professional fraternity Delta Sigma Pi. I organized group events to increase relationships and networks among brothers, instilled DEI values into the brotherhood, and assisted in recruiting potential new members. Additionally, I was on the executive board for the International Business Association where I planned for our biweekly general body meetings, and a club trip to Boston, MA. I also had the opportunity to educate members about international business news, internal stock exchange movements, and ethics. On top of that, I was a Smeal Student Mentor. In this role as a mentor, I was assigned to be a professional and academic advisor to a group of first-year business students and assist in navigating through their classes and involvements throughout the year. As for my work experience, during my time at school I was a Sales and Marketing Intern for the Penn State University Press. In this role, I used tools and analytics to assist the marketing team with increasing book and journal sales to their target market. Last summer, I was a Social Media Marketing Intern for the nonprofit organization; Faith Centre. In this role, I ran social media campaigns for the thrift store, food bank, and pet food bank, all while updating the website as well. Currently I am a Media Intern at Deerfield Group where I am learning about what an integrated, full-service, pharmaceutical advertising agency does, and specifically assisting the media team in client requests and internal updating.
