About Colin Dilland

East Cape Tours and Safaris was set up in 1998 by Colin Dilland, who came to South Africa from the UK in 1995 on a 2 year contract with an automotive company. He spent a lot of time organising holidays for friends, family and colleagues, and by doing so fell in love with the country and all it has to offer. When his contract ended, he decided to stay in South Africa and start up his own travel business, organising holidays around Southern Africa on a full-time basis. We specialise in Southern Africa, and organise everything from Garden Route trips along South Africa's coast to gorilla-tracking in Uganda. We offer excellent safaris at various game reserves and lodges from as close as Kruger National Park to as far as Zambia's Luangwa Valley, Chobe National Park in Botswana, Okovanga Delta and Victoria Falls, as well as exotic beach holidays to the islands of Mauritius and Zanzibar. We pride ourselves on being very familiar with the area and offering personalised advice on both the well-known areas and magical back-waters.
