I am a 3L who is passionate about sustainability, environmental law, labor law, anti-trust, and criminal justice reform. I have extensive experience in the energy industry and have worked to help create pathways for biomass and biochar to help replace and offset the emissions of coal fired power plants through my work as part of the MASBio Consortium. In undergraduate, I studied environmental and natural resource economics, which sparked my passion for energy and environmental law. I was fascinated by the complex relationship between policy, sustainability, and electricity demand. The combination of these factors can help to push forward or limit growth in the sector as ramping and baseline power sources must be balanced against consumer demand for more expensive intermittent sources of power like wind and solar.
