Background
About Colin Ferguson
10 years of experience testing and test management, self taught from the ground up. Has unique approach to testing and doesn’t always follow the norm, standards and best practices have their place but you need to adapt for any product/solution. Encourages creativity in test team members, always ask What is this supposed to do, does it do that? and then the fun bit… how do I (as a user) break it? Believes in tests unique position to suggest UI/UX and architectural/design improvements or other change and advocates for tests inclusion at very early planning stages of a project. Isn’t afraid to be wrong, make mistakes, offer opinions or question orders. Believes in empowerment and trust of teams.
