About Colin Gray

With over 25 years of experience in environmental and sustainability roles, I’ve dedicated my career to making our planet a better place for future generations. Graduating in the mid-90s with an environmental degree, I’ve maintained a steadfast commitment to this field, continually evolving my expertise and leadership. Throughout my career, the various positions I’ve held have allowed me to develop and implement strategies for sustainability. My recent focus has been on sustainability leadership, where I guide organizations in identifying and meeting sustainability challenges. This includes corporate sustainability reporting and establishing net-zero targets. I balance every decision I make with the question,"How does this improve the situation?" This ethos guides both my professional and personal life. At home, I contribute to environmental sustainability through domestic solar PV and battery storage, driving an electric vehicle, cycling, incorporating more vegetarian and vegan meals, and avid recycling. In my free time, I enjoy running, cycling, dog walking, gardening, listening to music and podcasts, and playing board games and Dungeons & Dragons with friends.
