About Colin Hovde
Theater has been a part of my life for some time now. I have been honored to serve as an executive director at Santa Fe Playhouse and as an artistic director for Theater Alliance in Washington DC, I have been able to collaborate with international artists through collaborations with the Department of State and the Kennedy Center as well as producing international work in Macau China. These varied experiences have further fed something that has always defined me since I was young. A wide and unending curiosity. Whether it is directed at antique cars (which I love and have restored) languages and cultures that I encounter, or people and the way we communicate with each other and how we process the reality of the world we live in. I love theater because it is one of the few venues where strangers and friends can gather together to learn from our collective cultural photo-album. It is our opportunity to learn together and grow together.
