A Company Director, General Manager and Chartered Mechanical Engineer with 30+ years experience in engineering, contract manufacture, operations, sales and business development. Industry experience includes; medical, pharmaceutical, healthcare and defence/aerospace. In depth knowledge of managing contract manufacturing within the plastics sector; primarily injection moulding, including NPI, Rapid Prototyping, Tooling, Automation, Infrastructure My management style is all about employee engagement, development and empowerment; sharing the vision, leading by example, communication, transparency, ethics. P&L accountability and financial reporting I'm a keen advocate for the positive benefits of plastics, but equally passionate about the need for a sustainable approach to their processing and usage. I have collaborated with customers, suppliers and contractors in recycling projects and targeting Net Zero, also with the BPF in signing up to the 'Climate Change Agreement', HMRC on 'Plastic Packaging Tax' and introduced production efficiency improvements (Equipment, Infrastructure and sustainable/renewable power sources.
