About Colin M. Corner

At The Wealth & Benefits Group, our goal is to help our clients: “Dream | Plan | Achieve”. This is both our promise and our commitment. As a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), I specialize in high net worth money management. Wealth strategies at a certain financial level can be extremely complicated. I work collaboratively with my clients to ensure we have a proper plan in place so that they can save certain taxes while managing both risk and returns. I have almost 30 years’ experience, often working with three or four generations of families, and I’m honoured to have built my practice based on longstanding relationships and trust. Many clients come to us with unique and often challenging circumstances or objectives. They feel reassured in our experience and the resources we make available to develop a solid financial foundation so their family or business is well taken care of. My family and I also live on a hobby farm in Haldimand County, Ontario and I have additional experience advising on farm succession planning. In addition, we serve a number of community-based local mutual insurance companies. I’m proud to have received the Investment Planning Counsel award for “Best Client Experience” in 2011, for my commitment to my clients and helping them reach their goals.
