My two areas of expertise are data science and survey methodology. I have coded and analyzed large datasets using data science techniques for over a decade. I am proficient at R, Python, SQL, Tableau, and Stata. I am adept at advanced analysis techniques such as regressions, machine learning, longitudinal analyses, and multi-level modeling. I also frequently deliver descriptives statistics and visuals that are easily digestible. I thrive at data management and have experience handling panel and transactional data, interoperability issues, unstructured data, and other missing or complex data issues. I have experience with creating datasets or data pipelines using web scraping, APIs, transformed datasets, internal client data, and merged administrative datasets. In the past decade, I have designed and analyzed over two dozen large scale surveys. I have a niche understanding in both longitudinal survey and simultaneous surveys that target different audiences using similar questions. My strength is in connecting the research design of a survey to planned analysis needs.
