About Colin McIntyre

I am a freelance tutor who has been working for Remit Foods Ltd for the past year and a half, delivering Digital inclusion, Customer service, CPD and much more. I recieved a "Green"(outstanding) from their own internal verifiers and also from an outside organisation from a member of the Ofsted inspection team and also recieved high praise during my freelance time with the company. I have a car and travel is not a problem, if anything i actually quite enjoy it. I have been teaching for over 13 years now and have a large variety of courses under my belt such as.Retail up to level 2.Health and safety level 2 (Iosh).Employability skills up to level 2.Warehousing and storage level 2.Hospitality level 2.Digital inclusion level 1.Business admin level 2.Personal and social development (psd).Customer service level 2.Embedding Functional skills (Maths & English) and many more. I have my PTLLS level 4 and DBS checks for adult and 16- 18 year olds and have experience in teaching/coaching with both, I also have completed my assignment for my TAQA (A1) assessors award but need it to be processed for certification as my coach/mentor was unfortunatly made redundant before it could be done. I have just invested my own money and have recently up skilled myself with an IOSH Awairnes course on - COSHH Fire warden (Fire Marshal) Training Fire safety Asbestos Manual handling working at height I love showing people what I can do and love achieving goals and meeting targets for the learners reactions, I am very passionate about what I do and always go that extra mile, for example - travel at 3am to be at locations on time to deliver fun and informative training sessions, staying late and over my hours in order to reach higher goals than set. you ask me to get a job done I will do it. My motivation - when learners find out they have skills they never knew they already had, the extra spring in their step, them finally getting and doing somthing they never thought possible and to see them pass their qualifications with a new focus to see them progress to better things.
