About Colin McVeigh

My work focuses on Representations and Warranties Insurance, Tax Insurance, and Contingent Liability Insurance policies in connection with M&A transactions and other corporate transactions. I have extensive experience in M&A, having worked on thousands of M&A transactions over the course of my career as a legal advisor and insurance underwriter. I have underwritten every product in the transaction liability market and advised across M&A, Financial Institutions, and Banking as an attorney. I bring numerous vantage points and a problem-solving mentality to Newfront’s clients. My work is enhanced by Newfront’s industry leading technology, which is transforming the way people create, understand, select, transact, and use data so that it starts and ends with the client and deal success. Prior to Newfront, I underwrote transactional risk for BlueChip Underwriting Services on behalf of a panel of insurers, reinsurers, and Lloyd's syndicates. Prior to BlueChip, I worked as a corporate attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York City. At Skadden, I worked in the M&A, Financial Institutions, and Banking groups on both large cap and middle market transactions on behalf of both private equity and corporate clients. I graduated from Duke University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
