About Colin Ogrady

Hi, I am Colin O’Grady from Orland Park, Illinois. My major is finance, and I choose to attend Indiana because of its track record of successful alumni. My interest in finance came from a young age when I used to look at huge skyscrapers and was amazed by the complexity behind such a project. I am a solution-oriented and disciplined individual with a passion for finance and asset management. Throughout my academic journey at Indiana University, I have developed a strong foundation in finance and real estate while honing my problem-solving and analytical skills. One of my proudest experiences was leading a team in a case competition, where we faced significant adversity. Midway through the competition, we encountered unforeseen challenges that required us to rethink our strategy entirely. Rather than backing down, we came together as a team and introduced a new approach that involved keeping inventory lean and focusing on changing consumer trends. My commitment to discipline and strategic thinking continues to drive me as I pursue opportunities in real estate asset management, where I look forward to turning challenges into opportunities.
