About Colin Packer

With a Degree in Production Engineering and more than 34 Years as an Experienced Fire Engineer, I have obtained a detailed knowledge of all aspects of fire protection, from sprinklers, water mist, special risk protection, passive works, fire doors, fire alarms and dry risers. This has in turn helped me undertaking a number of different Management roles from Operations Director, Reginal Director, Sales Director, Divisional Managing Director, Business Development Manager, Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Key Accounts Manager and Service Director. During these periods, I have managed teams varying in size from a team of 350 direct reports and a further 120 sub-contractors turning over in excess of 26 million to a reginal sale team as small as 12 reasonable for sales target of 8 million. This wealth of experience has allowed me to provide strong leadership to the people I have managed and build good customer relationships with continued repeat business. I also offer a very detailed understanding of business development, P&L accounts, successful deliverer of profitable growth and cash; tactically astute in managing multiple complex problems, a complex supply chains; innovative sales and marketing skills; pragmatic; hard working; and approachable at all times.
