About Colin Piper

I've been in full time Christian youth ministry for over 30 years. These days I am passionate about encouraging strategic partnership to reach and disciple as many young people as possible for Christ. For me discipleship means being equipped to discover the full riches of a relationship with Christ through God's word and Spirit. I love inspiring people to get into scripture whether through bible teaching or writing. Because of my work with the World evangelical Alliance, I travel widely and it's my privilege to empower regional leaders to become custodians and gatekeepers of vision and values for youth ministry in their area. I believe in a new paradigm of mission in which global vision is determined by leaders from the whole globe, not just North America and Europe, global leaders refer and defer to those called and skilled to develop regional strategy, older leaders find renewed fulfilment in mentoring younger leaders who humbly respect the wisdom of their seniors and female leaders are encouraged and enabled to serve equally with their male peers.
